Our editorial purpose

Home & Decor is an independent editorial publication focused on interior ideas, practical design context and curated product discovery. Our goal is to explain how a look can be built, what details matter and which products may support that direction.

How we choose products

Products may be selected because of their design, materials, dimensions, function, price positioning, availability or relevance to a specific article. Inclusion does not mean that a product has been physically tested unless the article explicitly says so.

We aim to explain why a product belongs in a guide rather than simply reproduce retailer descriptions.

Affiliate relationships

Some links may be affiliate links. If a reader follows an eligible link and makes a qualifying purchase, Home & Decor may receive a commission. Commercial relationships are disclosed where relevant.

Testing and first-hand experience

We distinguish between products we have physically tested and products selected through editorial research. We do not describe a product as personally tested, tried or owned unless that is true.

Prices and availability

Retail prices, stock and specifications can change after publication. Readers should verify current details with the retailer before purchasing.

Corrections and updates

We may update articles when products become unavailable, specifications change, better alternatives appear or an error is identified.

Photography, image rights and credits

Editorial and product imagery should be used only when there is a documented basis for commercial publication, such as ownership, a licence, creator permission, an authorized brand or press asset, an approved affiliate feed or another valid source. A visible credit is not treated as a substitute for permission.

Use of software and AI-assisted tools

We may use digital and AI-assisted tools to support research, organization, drafting, image ideation or production workflows. AI-assisted editorial visualizations are recorded as such in the production system and should not be presented as documentary photography of a real home, a completed designer project or an exact depiction of listed products. Editorial responsibility remains with the publisher, and product claims should be checked against appropriate source material before publication.
